Account Manager – Design & Print

Full-time, On-site near Ware, Hertfordshire | Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00

About the Role

In this fast-paced and varied position, you’ll take ownership of client projects from start to finish — managing communication between clients, studio, production, and dispatch to ensure every job runs smoothly and meets expectations. You’ll be the key link between our clients and our internal teams, combining your technical understanding of print and design with your ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, building strong and trusted relationships
  • Manage projects through all stages — from enquiry to completion
  • Prepare estimates and quotes, and follow up proactively
  • Translate client requirements into clear work instructions for production
  • Monitor progress to ensure all jobs are delivered on time and within SLAs
  • Communicate technical solutions and creative ideas clearly and confidently
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a first-class client experience
  • Stay calm under pressure, think strategically, and adapt to changing priorities

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Account Management or Project Management role within design, print, or production
  • Strong understanding of large format, litho & digital print, mailing, and fulfilment
  • Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills
  • Process-oriented, highly organised, and great at multitasking
  • Confident communicator — both written and verbal — with great attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Familiarity with MIS systems and strong general IT skills
  • Professional, calm, and adaptable under pressure
