Laser / Digital Operator (Xerox Nuvera) | Continental shifts (incorporating nights and weekends) | Barking, East London | £30,000 - £35,000

This superb organisation has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Laser / Digital Operator to work on a continental shift basis. Your role will be to operate Xerox Nuvera & iGen and other digital presses and muck in with other departments as needed. Your role will be:

  • Follow colour management processes and procedures
  • To receive print briefs and specifications for jobs to be processed
  • Make sure that all consumables are checked for quality prior to loading on the printers.
  • Check all jobs for accuracy against samples, traces, briefs, etc
  • Quality checks during/completion of each job
  • Ensuring output is to high standards of quality

You must have:

  • Previous experience operating Xerox Nuvera or Ricoh VC Printers (or similar)
  • At least 3 years of current experience in a Digital Print Operator role
  • Proficiency with digital printing software
  • Understanding of colour theory, printing processes, and file preparation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on digital printing equipment

Shifts: 12-hour day/night rotating shift pattern (one week of Day shift/week off /one week of Night shift/ week off and then back to day shift.
