We have an excellent opportunity for a Transcriber with excellent admin and organisational skills to join a highly impressive Print business in Essex.  As the Transcriber you will be an expert in Transcription Services, Transcription is the creating of audio, braille and large print from written documentation, images and data. 
 
About the Transcriber role:
  • To communicate with the Management & colleagues team in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Liaise with the team for handovers and any issues arising.
  • Produce work to the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Maintain and monitor all Company processes and procedures at all times.
  • Develop knowledge and skills for performance management to create a high performance culture.
  • Setting up jobs – print off materials, collate and reconcile to client list. Create folders (electronic and paper) and address lists.
  • Reconcile finished work to address list before posting
  • Preparing documents to post out – binding/address labels etc
  • Gradually get involved with checking work and marking up for amendments
About you:
  • Several years of admin experience
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Happy to work in a small team
  • Eye for detail
  • Experience of document design
  • Proof checking experience
  • Experience of quality control
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks
  • An understanding of the challenges experienced by visually impaired people
  • Sense of humour but outstanding work ethic
  • Someone who is able to commit to what is essentially a ‘process’ job

Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm
UK Driving License would be required and expenses for travel would be covered by the business or they would be able to use a pool car should one be available.
