Insertion Operator X2 | Mailing | Cheshire | £21,000 - £25,000
We are looking for 2 Insertion Operators / Print Finishers for our fantastic client based in Cheshire, one will be on a late shift and the other a continental shift. About the Insertion Operator position: • To communicate with the line manager in a timely manner • Liaise with overseer /operators for handovers and any issues arising. • Produce work to the highest standards and to obtain maximum output and procedures are followed. • Always maintain and monitor all Company processes and procedures. • Flexible approach to shift work and overtime. • Develop knowledge and skills for performance management to create a high-performance culture. • Able to understand and act on maintenance levels • To perform any other duties that may be required from time to time. About the successful Insertion Operator: • Direct mail and transactional mail experience is essential • Experienced on Bowe fusions, Neopost equipment an advantage plus any additional experience using finishing equipment such as guillotines / Folders / Stitching lines etc. • Flexible attitude willing to work with the team to get the job completed. • Previous experience operating in a fast-paced environment • Forward thinking with an appreciation of LEAN principles
Minimum 2 year experience on any of these machine will be required - Pitney Bowes (blue crest), Bowie, Neopost (Quadient), Buhrs Training on the Neopost DS1200 G4i machine will be provided
Our client will also consider someone with experience as a finisher looking to take the next step.
Position #1 Late Shift: 2pm to 10pm permanent shift Monday to Friday (willing to have Fridays 12pm – 8pm with flexibility) Shift allowance: 15% Salary: roughly £21k inc of shift allowance
Position #2 3 shift rota: 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00, 22:00 to 06:00 Shift allowance – 33% Salary - £25k inc shift allowance
