A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Direct Mail Production Controller / Coordinator to join a wonderful business in Sussex. We are looking for experienced printing professionals especially those individuals looking to develop their career at a company with ambitious plans and excellent potential.

You will be expected to communicate with account managers, clients, and with production and estimating departments to ensure core campaign objectives are adhered to. You will have to balance workloads, prioritise tasks and react to ad-hoc changes.

The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced in production and the direct mail industry. The successful Production Controller will be pro-active, able to work independently, be meticulous, enjoy communicating directly with colleagues and clients, and work well in a pressure environment.  You will be expected to take an initiative-taking and leading role in identifying and meeting production and performance targets in line with KPI’s and create and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

About you:

• Previous experience as an Account Manager / Production Controller in Print / Direct Mail
• Knowledge and practical understanding of; lithographic printing & finishing, digital & laser printing, managing data and data briefs, envelope production, mailing, and postal services is advantageous 
• Be able to generate innovative and effective solutions and added value to both meet and exceed client requirements.
• MIS Tharstern experience or similar
• Estimating experience would be a bonus.
