Night Shift Machine Mailing Manager | Monday to Friday – 23:00 to 07:00 – 40hrs | North London | £30,000 - £35,000 

Our fantastic client are looking for an experienced Mailing Manager / Enclosing Manager to support the achievement of their business goals by assisting with the organisation and management of the Machine Mailing Department helping to maintain pack quality and integrity. To aid the smooth running of the department to meet the planned schedules and achieving department targets and goals.

Responsibilities: Night Shift Machine Mailing Manager  

  • To acquire a full knowledge of the range of equipment and services provided in the Machine Mailing Department – Bowe Fusion, Pitney Bowes APS and MSE and Buhrs enclosing machines, the ink jets, tabbing machine, digital stitching lines and postal consolidation machines.
  • To assist the Machine Mailing Manager with the organisation and management of the machine mailing floor on the late shift. 
  • To attend the daily Machine Mailing Hand Over Meeting and to help ensure that the department work is planned and scheduled to meet the needs of the business. 
  • To organise and mange the Loading Bay for all goods in and outbound mailing collections by our Postage Partners and couriers for our outworkers.
  • To ensure job bags are available for the Machine Operators and to assist in checking the quality of the enclosing and that all mailing packs are enclosed correctly as per the job bag instructions.

About the successful Mailing Manager / Enclosing Manager:

  • A successful 2 years proven record of accomplishment gained within a Machine Mailing Production department or environment
  • A knowledge on how Machine Mailing Department operates.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, attention to detail.
  • To be a team player, able and willing to assist other members of the team.
  • To be able to maintain good disciplines, standards, initiative and drive.
  • To be able to ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • To be organised and have a high attention to detail.
