Business Development Manager - Packaging | UK wide with travel to client/company sites | £negotiable on experience

Our exciting client specialise in creating packaging solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients across various sectors, including health and beauty, personal care, retail and consumer goods and ecommerce.

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development / Business Development manager to join their growing team.

The ideal Sales Exec will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and target audiences, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the client base.

The successful Business Development Manager will be expected to:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the packaging industry
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while supporting key stakeholders
  • Implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative packaging solutions
  • Prepare and deliver client proposals and presentations
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales within the packaging industry
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and technologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Happy to travel
