Laser Print Operator | Leicester
Salary – Negotiable depending on experience
Monday-Friday – Shifts 1:30pm – 9pm

Aim Search are partnered with an excellent producer of innovative Print & Direct Mail based in Leicester, who are recruiting experienced Production staff to join their friendly team. The Laser Print Operator will require to work on a Ricoh / Develop laser printers, Primary purpose of this role is to set up, adjust, safely Operate and maintain programmable printers. While printing the Operator will ensure that each product meets job instruction specification and passes relevant QC checks.

About the Digital Print Operator / Laser Operator:

• Set up and operate Ricoh / Develop laser printers automated positioning by performing necessary calculations
• Set up and operate a tecnau / Spedo / Laurenti sheeter and a Hunker reel stand and unwind
• Monitor assigned machine to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as needed to maintain specification and operating speed
• Troubleshoot Machine problems, resolve if possible, notify shop floor manager
• Perform Quality checks and stack finished products according to job specification

About the successful Laser Printer:

• 2 years plus laser printer experience. Advantage is 2 years continuous laser printer experience
• Good communication skills
• Strong visual skills with an eye for detail
• A good strong team ethic and willingness to ‘pitch in’ whenever necessary.
• This is a physical job which requires a certain degree of physical fitness.
• Guarantee their own work is to the highest standard.
